Traffic Jam

Traffic Jam Flyer

Events for Change is excited to announce their upcoming event, called Traffic Jam. This event will raise money and awareness for Domestic Human Trafficking. Human trafficking is the fastest growing criminal industry in the world. Worldwide, most slaves are forced to work in agriculture, mining, and prostitution. Products such as coffee, tea, and chocolate are traceable to slave labor. The conservative estimate of slaves in bondage is 27 million. Research shows that over 2 million children, as young as 6 years old, are exploited in the child sex trade around the world today. This problem exists everywhere, including in the U.S.

We are hosting a fundraiser for Hope House, a home for young female survivors of domestic sex trafficking. The event is also being held to educate the public about this worldwide concern. Please join us on February 25th at the Hudson Elks Club from 8:00 to midnight to help raise awareness.
